well, well.. it's been so long since my last blog. I mean come on.. it's MAY now! but i have good reason! My dell laptop has been on it's death bed for about 3 months.. last night after it took 20min for a pdf to load.. i just couldn't take it anymore and today.. I BOUGHT A MACBOOK! oh yes. i'm typing on it right now.. i'm not even tied to an outlet.. actually i'm in bed watching LOST (to dramatic for my taste).. but i'm loving the new mac life style. so easy.
I've been really busy the past month. Last weekend we shot my first ever official video right here in philly for my song, on the run. The crew was amazing and all the actors did very well. thanks everyone for a no-drama set lol. the video release will be this summer in conjunction with my birthday @ the Tin Angel. I'm waiting on a confirm from the club.. but august 8th is looking swell.
I also went on a little tour to a couple of my favorite places in PA, NY & DE.
traveled up to wilkes barre, pa for a show @ twist. (stayed in the most disgusting hotel in Scranton, thx priceline) then to olean, ny @ mixers and up to ithaca of course for a killer night at Felicia's. Thanks to everyone who came out and all the new friends i made this trip. I had some down time up there and went to this kick ass farmers market on the weekend, it kinda reminds me of a cruisey outdoor bar, but with fresh local produce, reusable shopping totes and breakfast burritos! oh the ithaca crunch LOL On May 8th i played on the 93.7 WSTW Outdoor concert stage in Wilmington as part of the 89th annual flower market (big deal down in those parts) Had a nice time and even had some funnel cake!
Sooooo... i guess your wondering what i'm up to with music besides the video and touring. Well kids, i'm writing a new record. So many great changes have been happening lately. Some fucked up, some a blessing in disguise.. but all the same this change has been AMAZING for the process and i can't wait for you to hear some of it.
take it easy tho.. ON THE RUN hasn't been out a year yet.. so give me a second or two :)
i'm off for now... have an early morning session at the gym.. WORK IT OUT!
